Learning that I needed a heart transplant is the hardest thing my family and I have ever had to deal with. I know I'm blessed by the outpouring of support to me and my family. Sadly my story isn't unique, and there are a lot of people who need organ transplants. If my story compels one person to register as an organ donor then I'll feel even more blessed.
